tonights tea for Pheobe & me....

pea risotto with chicken ballotine stuffed with sweet potato puree & roast chestnuts, asparagus, toasted home made bread, parmesan crisps & parmesan dust, with marsala & beetroot sauce

tonight Pheobe & me scoffed:

teriyaki chicken with japanese rice from matsudai village, topped with bonito shavings, 3 types of japanese pepper (from kyoto), yuzu paste & tempura sweet potato, asparagus, carrot & sweetcorn....

me & pheobe's tea on Monday: garden pea risotto, with beechwood smoked pancetta, parmesan & garlic rubbed sourdough

today we had chicken with white wine & cream sauce, goose fat roasted apache potatoes, sweetcorn puree & thinly sliced lightly smoked bacon....

bacon crust gammon, caramelised parsnip puree, pickled apple salad & sweet potato wedges....followed by toffee apple snap, crackle & pop ice cream....

cooking with & for Pheobe is a simple, but deep joy....
